NYCFC Linked with USMNT Star Christian Pulisic, AC Milan Declares Him Not For Sale

Reports indicate that New York City FC has expressed interest in acquiring the services of U.S. Men's National Team (USMNT) standout Christian Pulisic. However, Italian giants AC Milan have firmly stated that the American midfielder is not available for transfer.

According to a report by The Athletic, multiple Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs are actively exploring the possibility of luring Pulisic back to North America. The timeframe often mentioned for such a move is following the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Despite this interest from across the league, AC Milan appears reluctant to sanction any deal.

NYCFC, who are in the process of building a new stadium set to open in 2027, has a well-established track record of attracting prominent international talent. Previous high-profile signings for the Bronx-based club include legendary figures like Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo. The acquisition of a player with Pulisic's caliber and name recognition would undoubtedly represent a major coup for the MLS side.

Pulisic's recent season with AC Milan has been described as a mixed bag. He showcased moments of exceptional skill and brilliance throughout the campaign, but his form experienced a noticeable dip in the latter stages. Despite these fluctuations, the Italian club holds a strong negotiating position due to Pulisic's contract, which is valid until 2028.

The Rossoneri have undergone significant organizational shifts, including the recent appointment of Ruben Amorim as their new head coach. Nevertheless, within this evolving structure, AC Milan continues to view Christian Pulisic as an integral and valuable member of their squad.

For his part, Christian Pulisic is currently concentrating his efforts and attention on his upcoming commitments with the USMNT. His focus remains squarely on representing his country in international competitions.
